Our son has been at Green Apple Kids since he was 2.

The staff has been extremely nurturing and kind, ensuring the transition is as smooth as possible and he is receiving abundant care. He eats and naps extremely well. Each day is full of creative activities and outdoors time. Our son is often sad to leave school and raves about his teachers and things he did that day.

Additionally, the staff is extremely responsive in general and sensitive to his allergies, which gives us a peace of mind.

Strongly recommend GAK for families looking a highly positive school experience for their kids at a young age.

Look no further. You have found your daycare. Green Apple is incredible in every sense of the word. The staff is loving, the administration is top notch and no one will care for, or love your children more. I have had two kids here and in every class they’ve been in, we’ve had the same experience.

The food is amazing (although they seem to still not eat vegetables at home!) and the activities are plentiful! Yoga, dance, music, art, sensory bins…the list is endless.

We had a situation where we needed additional resources for my son and they jumped into action. It was incredible the plan they put in place for my son to succeed.

We were actually so sad for our oldest to have left for JK because of the care we experienced here.

Windermere Kids is truly an outstanding daycare in the Bloor West / Swansea area. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there.

There is a genuine sense of care, continuity, and teamwork among the staff. The director, Jennifer, is incredibly organized, responsive, and thoughtful. She addresses concerns promptly and leads the centre with warmth and professionalism. It’s clear she cares deeply about the children and families.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel a sense of friendliness and belonging. Everyone greets the children by name, creating such a personal and welcoming environment. My daughter, who is currently in the preschool room, is always welcomed with smiles, hellos, and warm goodbyes from staff throughout the centre — not just her classroom teachers. It truly feels like a community.

All three of my daughters have attended Windermere Kids over the past eight years, and our experience has been consistently exceptional. Although the centre is not part of the subsidy program, it has never been something I’ve questioned. The quality of care, programming, and education speaks for itself.

The daycare is clean, well-run, and thoughtfully structured. The programming is engaging and creative, and the teachers are nurturing, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each child’s development.

I wholeheartedly recommend Windermere Kids to any family looking for an exceptional daycare experience. Five out of five — without hesitation.

Do I have time to write this review? No. Am I doing it anyways because we sincerely love this place and couldn’t have made it through the last few years without them? Yes. We’ve sent both our kids to Windermere Kids and we’ll be sad when our youngest moves on to JK.

WK is helping our amazing little people become even better little people – they discuss feelings, red and green choices, what being kind means, and they’re welcoming to everyone. They do yoga and dance (let’s be honest, mine are jumping about and rolling around like crazy nuts) but it’s still wonderful…and funny to see on the app. The teachers care and want to help your kids. We get report cards twice a year, which are helpful especially if you’re trying to gauge if your kiddo needs support with anything (not a harsh or strict version).

Some other reviews talked about waitlist concerns – just get on the waitlist early. Problem solved. It’s nerve wracking for everyone, not specific to WK. And on that note, it might be helpful to know that before/after care (for school age kids), Toronto activity sign-ups, and summer camp are equally stressful and like the hunger games, especially when it’s a good place like WK.

Our family deals with anaphylactic allergies and FPIES amongst other challenges and WK has been so lovely and supportive. There are families that left WK to try a subsidized daycare and came back to WK – that speaks for itself. Admittedly the yard could have a few less puddles but that hasn’t bothered us (and the kids kind of love it) because WK is doing all the meaningful things that matter. As parents we’re busy so I hope this review saves you time from having to search for a great daycare. You found it!

We absolutely love GAK! Our two children are both in GAK and they enjoy every single day.

We moved to Canada from Europe and we did not know what to expect from Canadian daycare. GAK is beyond expectations.

The Food menu (our son pushes us in the morning to hurry so he can make morning snack), The outdoor playtime, the activities, yoga, dance class, science and the kindness. Our kids are learning new things every single day in a fun way.

As we are not from here GAK feels like family to us and they have always supported us and advised us when needed.

The whole team knows our children by name and our children always like to say goodbye and give hugs to the other staff members at pickup.

We are so happy that we have found this place and would definitely recommend GAK to any parent or parent to be!

We’ve had an incredible experience at Windermere Kids! Our oldest has been there for over a year now, moving from the infant room into the toddler room, and the transition was seamless.

The energy in this place is consistently wonderful. Every single teacher is outstandingly kind, and you can really feel the positive energy the moment you walk through the door. The best testimonial, though, is our toddler who literally runs inside every morning without looking back!
It’s such a relief to have that kind of peace of mind. We already have our second child set to start as soon as she’s ready!

We’ve had an incredible experience at Green Apple Kids Daycare, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our child received there! Additionally, the emphasis on creative art was a highlight. Our child came home every day with beautiful artwork, showing off her creativity and new skills. The daycare’s focus on fostering artistic expression allowed her to develop her fine motor skills and explore her imagination in fun and meaningful ways.

In summary, Green Apple Kids Daycare has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff is caring, the activities are enriching, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Windermere Kids has been an incredible part of our family’s journey. As first-time parents navigating the uncertainty of the pandemic in 2020, their management and staff provided steady, thoughtful support that meant so much to us. We’ve since been thrilled to have our second and third children attend, and our experience has been consistently excellent.

The standard of care and professionalism across their team is outstanding. I don’t think you could find a better daycare. Both my kids went from infant until kindergarten and it’s been amazing. The facility is bright and clean, the playgrounds green. The staff is lovely and has been for the 10 years we’ve had a child there. They do tons of art and lots of extra programming, yoga, dancing, music. The kids plant things and learn about nature and the environment. The food is exceptional. It creates good healthy eating habits at such a crucial time in development. Green Apple has helped us raise our children and they are kind, confident and academically strong. I will forever be grateful for GAK. ❤️

Both of our girls attended Windermere Kids from beginning to end, ages 1 to 3.5. We had a great experience! The girls adored their caregivers, learned a lot, and had a ton of fun. They were greeted with a warm and joyous welcome every morning and were quick to share all the amazing things they experienced at the end of each day. The safety and best interest of the kids was always a top priority and this was clearly reflected in all elements of the program, i.e. learning curriculum, safety policies, meal plans, staff professionalism, etc. All exceptional.
