Children learn through play, discovery, and the patience to follow where it leads.

At Green Apple Kids, the day is built for children. Whether outside under the tree canopy or inside in big, bright rooms, it’s happy and lively, full of the sound of play and, sometimes, the silence of focus.

The environment is only part of the story; what truly matters is who creates it. Our experienced educators—some of whom have been with us for more than a decade—know each child’s unique cues, follow their interests, and encourage their growth with care. Infant

3–18 months | ratio 1:3 | FULL TIME ONLY

Days are full of gentle exploration: room to move, things to touch, new sensations to make sense of, all in the care of experienced and compassionate Registered Early Childhood Educators.

Toddler

1.5-2.5 years | ratio 1:5 | FULL & PART TIME

Toddlers are busy, curious, and dive into everything, so we lean into it. They meet colours, numbers, and shapes through play and spend real time on our natural playgrounds finding out what their growing bodies can do.

Preschool

2.5-5 years | ratio 1:8 | FULL & PART TIME

The preschool years are about readiness for Kindergarten and for the wider world. Children practice letters, numbers, time, the social give-and-take of a group, and express themselves enough ways to start figuring out who they are.

Educators who stay

Predictability is vital to healthy development in the early years. Many of our dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educators have been with us for years. This helps foster the safety and independence young children need to thrive.

Nature as teacher

Nature isn’t just a playground, it’s our greatest teacher. Rain, shine, or snow, our kids are outdoors every day exploring our natural spaces, tending to vegetables in our garden beds, riding tricycles, and fostering a lifelong connection to the earth.

Real food, properly sourced

Growing bodies and minds need real fuel. Every meal and snack comes from Real Food for Real Kids: fresh, made from scratch, and chosen for nutrition and safety over anything ultra-processed.
