How to choose between our two Toronto daycare locations

Both centres run the same programs, the same daily rhythm, and the same approach to learning. What differs is where they sit, how big they are, and which rooms have space when you need it. For most families the decision comes down to the commute – but it’s worth knowing what else is and isn’t different.

What’s identical at both centres

  • Hours: 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • The same infant, toddler and preschool programs, at the same ratios
  • Hot lunches and snacks catered by Real Food for Real Kids
  • The same play-based, nature-led approach and the same curriculum framework

What’s genuinely different

Green Apple Kids, Dundas St W: the larger of the two, with eight classrooms. Sits in The Junction, drawing families from Runnymede, Baby Point and The Kingsway.

Windermere Kids, Windermere Ave: smaller at five classrooms, which some families prefer. Sits in Swansea, a short walk from High Park and Bloor West Village.

Waitlists move independently. A room that’s full at one centre may have space at the other, so it’s worth asking about both.
